Great Ideas for Gray Kitchen Cabinets
Lately I’ve been seeing gray cabinets everywhere. It could be because I’m thinking that our cabinets would look great painted gray and I’m very aware of them these days. Whatever the reason, I’m loving the way they look.
Painting our cabinets isn’t something I’ve planned on doing, or even something I really want to do, but I’m tired of them and they’re in good shape, so that’s an inexpensive and environmentally conscious way to update them. I’ve been trying to decide on a color and here are some that I’m considering. Let me know which ones you like the best!
Isn’t this kitchen from Jenna Sue stunning? There’s not anything in here that I don’t love. The cabinets, floors, beams, counter, and even those pretty flowers. Perfection. Drop by her blog to see the details of this fabulous kitchen here. (And tell her I sent you!)
From The Inspired Room, these cabinets painted in Benjamin Moore Kendall Charcoal are gorgeous. She updated her hardware as well, using pulls from Restoration Hardware and knobs from Anthropologie. The room looks fresh and up to date, gorgeous! Hop over and see all the wonderful details in her kitchen.
From Traditional Home, these cabinets were also painted with Benjamin Moore Kendall Charcoal. The open shelves with the ironstone add a nice touch here.
These pretty cabinets are painted with Benjamin Moore’s Chelsea Gray. The subway tiles with the darker grout look great.

These cabinets are painted in Benjamin Moore Timber Wolf 1600 and have a very upscale look when paired with the hardware and lighting. Isn’t that an amazing island?

The Benjamin Moore Gettysburg Gray on these cabinets has a soft, warm tone. It looks great with the marble counters and back splash. The lights over the island are amazing. All this space needs is someone living in it! (me)

These basic cabinets are painted with Benjamin Moore 2121-10 Gray. Nothing fancy here, but the gray gives is an updated modern look vs. wood or white cabinets.

Not a huge designer kitchen here, but the space looks great with the Benjamin Moore Thunder cabinets, Walls are Mount Saint Anne. The counter top and back splash add even more warmth and style to this space.
What do you think of gray cabinets? Or do you prefer wood or white? I haven’t decided for sure to paint ours or whether they’ll go gray or off white, but they probably will be updated one way or another. Let me know what you think!
