Simply Beautiful Home Tour from Saw, Nail, and Paint

Tour of a stunning Seattle home

small entry with white shiplap and hooks

Hello, friends! I have a real treat for you today with a tour of a stunning home from my friend Susan at Saw, Nail, and Paint. Her style is a fresh and cozy farmhouse look with lots of thrifted and vintage finds. She does wonderful furniture makeovers and you’ll see several examples in her tour.

Above is her cozy entry with a nice vintage chair and textured sisal rug. She added the shiplap and hooks herself. Isn’t it so warm and welcoming?

NOTE: Please visit Susan’s blog and pin images from there. Thank you!

Living Room

Her den also has a welcoming vibe and a big white comfy slipcovered sofa. The accent pillows add just the right amount of color. She has added thrifted artwork and made the ledge from repurposed salvaged molding. You can see more about that project here.

The pedestal coffee table is another thrifted find that she refinished herself. Didn’t she do a great job? And I love how she has the top of it styled.

Kitchen and Dining Area

Her dining room has another thrifted project in the table. She refinished it herself and it looks amazing. And that gorgeous vintage wood bead chandelier was a Craig’s list find!

Over in the kitchen, white subway tiles and cabinets pair perfectly with her wood floors.

And the pendant lights add a bit of a modern touch to the space.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is a cozy, peaceful retreat with textures and layers. The duvet adds a pop of color to the room and that light fixture steals the show!

Master Bathroom

The claw foot tub makes a big statement in the gorgeous master bathroom. And that pretty wood chair is another thrifted find!

Guest Bathroom

The navy blue walls contrast beautifully against the white wood accents. The faucet and sink are stunning!

Office

Her cozy office has a comfy couch and a vibrant green night stand that used as an end table. Wouldn’t you love to work in this space? See her tutorial for the night stand HERE.

Sadie’s Bedroom

Her daughter’s room has a gentle and peaceful vibe with the soft blue walls and white bedding. The bed is vintage. And the cat is adorable!

white painted dresser and white bedding

Yet another pretty thrifted piece here. The white dresser is one she found at goodwill and gave a facelift to.

Back Yard

Susan also has a backyard garden with antique fence and chicken coop. She built the raised vegetable garden beds herself!

blue chicken coop and vintage bicycle with flower basket

And isn’t this old bicycle with flowers in the basket charming? She found it at her local Goodwill store. (I think her Goodwill stores are much better than ours!)

And who wouldn’t want to eat dinner here with this gorgeous table setting? She built this farm table herself! See how she did it HERE.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this tour! I want to give a big thanks to Susan for allowing me to feature her beautiful home. I have several projects added to my to do list after seeing her home!

  1. I recently discovered Susan's blog – I know this is an old post, but deserves a high five – old or new, her home is one of the very best out there in blogdom. Thanks for featuring it/her!

And of course she'd have chickens. The whole enchilada is dream-come-true home.

  2. Absolutely beautiful! Any way to find out the paint colors used? Especially the blue in the guest bathroom?
