Haven Bound!

Hello, friends!  Today is the day I’ve been looking forward to since way back in January when I signed up to attend the Haven Conference in Atlanta.  I’ve got my bags packed and my car loaded and now I’m heading down the Atlanta highway….

oh vintage suitcases.

Now that you’ve got the “Love Shack” song stuck in your head, you can thank me.  ðŸ™‚

“What is Haven”, you ask?  It’s a weekend gathering of people (mostly women) who are passionate about blogging, DIY projects, and creating beauty in the home for less.  In other words, they’re my kind of people. We’re those people who are always doing something around the house….painting, building, rearranging things…it’s a never-ending evolution of home improvement for us.

What does one do at Haven?  Well, here’s what I hope to do:

1. Learn about the latest from companies like these:

Ballard Designs

 Ryobi Tools

 Frog Tape

Rustoleum

Home Depot

Online Fabric Store

 Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

Moen

Shaw Floors

Royal Design Stencils

and more.

2.  Learn how to take better photographs of my projects, how to use power tools to build simple projects, and learn how to grow my blog.

Three Power Tools Every Urban Homesteader Should Own

3.  Meet up with several bloggers that I’ve met before, and meet face to face with some newer friends that I’ve only met online before.  And hopefully make new friends while I’m there.

Aren’t we all hotties?  lol  But yes, all my blog friends are beautiful people, inside and out.

If you follow me on Instagram, watch for updates throughout the conference.  I’ll be sharing what (and who) I see there.

And stay tuned for a full post soon on everything Haven. Hopefully I’ll come back overflowing with valuable information and lots of great ideas to blog about!

In the meantime, have a great weekend!  I know I’m planning on it!

And thanks for stopping by!

XOXOX,

Angie
