Decorating our bedroom for Christmas isn’t something I’ve always done. But adding just a few simple holiday elements makes it cozy and festive for the season. Today I’m sharing the little things I’ve done to the bedroom and joining the Holiday Home Tour, hosted by Jenny at Evolution of Style and the ladies at 11 Magnolia Lane.

There are 25 tours, all linked at the bottom of this post, so be sure to visit everyone for some Christmas decorating inspiration and beautiful homes. If you’re coming over from Just a Girl Blog, welcome!! I adore her plaid inspired Christmas bedroom!

First time here? You can learn more about me and this blog here: Start Here.

And if you missed it, I shared our Christmas tree and vintage hutch all decked out in blue and green for the holidays here: Cozy Christmas Decor with Blue, Green, and Hydrangeas. Next week I’ll be sharing some of our outdoor spaces.

Now let’s get started with a little tour of our holiday bedroom. NOTE: Scroll to the bottom of the post for all shopping resources.

Christmas Bedroom Decor with Navy and Red

I didn’t go all out anywhere with Christmas this year, with the exception of our deck which you’ll get to see on Monday. In our bedroom I kept it simple and sweet and low stress. Two simple garlands are draped across the curtain rod and add such a nice soft touch in here.

Night Stand Decorated for Christmas

Earlier this year I snagged a couple of vintage night stands at an estate sale and have one of them in here. The vintage lamp and alarm clock are also estate sale finds from years ago.  I added a little plaid basket for some Christmas color and a package wrapped with pretty red satin ribbon. A little Christmas greenery finishes off this spot.

On the other side of the bed the large basket holds more throw blankets and a holiday pom pom pillow for a bit more color in here.

Christmas trees and accents

Over in the corner I placed an Alpine Christmas tree that has some wooden apples and faux berries. And a woven basket on the bench at the foot of the bed has a vintage plaid throw blanket and a couple more of the wrapped packages with red satin ribbon.

I added a little feather Christmas tree that I’ve had forever, and a vintage ironstone platter because I felt like it needed something more.

And a tiny led church Christmas ornament from my shop adds a little more holiday cheer.

Festive pillows and throw blankets

On the bed, I added a festive red “Merry” lumbar pillow for a pop of color. And my favorite faux fur throw blanket is a warm and cozy addition for the colder months. The navy pillows
coordinate with my vintage Ralph Lauren duvet cover. And the monogrammed linen Euro shams are here all year. They go with everything.

The only other thing that I added in here are some holiday sheets. You can see them peeking out from behind the Euro pillows. I’ve had these for years and it makes the bed feel like a pretty gift box when I’m climbing in at night. I highly recommend it!
