Sunflower Fields Forever

Dreamy field of sunflowers in Tennessee.

Sometimes you get lucky and find out there’s a sunflower field on public property not too far from where you live. So you grab your camera and take some fun pictures. That’s what happened to me a couple of weeks ago.

The stuff that dreams are made of - bumble bees and sunflowers.

About 45 minutes from our house are 25 acres with fields of sunflowers that were planted to attract doves, bees, and butterflies.

Rows of sunflowers in east Tennessee. So dreamy!

My daughters and I went one morning when the flowers were in full bloom. Did I mention it was about 95 degrees with probably 90% humidity? (Thanks, east Tennessee)

Even though we had sweat literally dripping down our backs and off our foreheads, we got some fun pictures.

The prettiest flowers in the entire field, not that I’m biased.

Have you been to any scenic areas lately? I’d love to hear about it!

Oh, hey! Did you notice anything different about this site? Maybe you didn’t even recognize it? Anyway, I’ve spent much of the last few days giving it a total makeover. It’s much cleaner and easier to navigate. You can search for anything and navigate the entire site with the drop down menu at the top of the screen! And you can easily share from the end of any post. Let me know what you think!

P.S. If you need a new look for your site, you can use my affiliate link and go HERE to download a fresh new template.
