Are you like me and so many other people who are refreshing and cleaning their home for spring? It’s always so nice when the temps warm up enough to open up the windows and freshen things up. Inspiring and as fresh and lovely as a spring day. That’s how a home should feel. And it’s easier and more enjoyable than ever with the earth-friendly products from Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day®.
Here at our house I’ve been cleaning and rearranging the furniture for a lighter, comfy, spring feeling. Gone are the darker winter colors and heavy throws, and in their place are lighter, softer colors and textiles. Simple changes like swapping out darker pillows for lighter ones make a big difference in the feel of the room.
I even changed out the entry furniture and decor for a lighter color and feeling. Simply adding some fresh picked flowers can make a big impact as well.
But by far the most refreshing, rewarding thing I’ve done is clean the house with Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® products. I’ve been using the Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® Lemon Verbena Multi-Surface and it’s truly wonderful. It has that clean citrus scent that you get when you squeeze the juice from a lemon. Can’t you just smell it now? It actually makes cleaning enjoyable since there are no smelly, harsh fumes.
Here’s just one example of how nicely it cleans. Our bathroom faucet was filthy and the Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® Multi-Surface Concentrate got rid of all the gunk and left the faucet shiny and squeaky clean. No oily residue or smudges.
One of the nice things about this cleaner is that it can be used all over the house. In addition to the bathroom, I’ve cleaned the kitchen sink, kitchen counters, baseboards, and even the front door with it. And as a bonus, it’s a clean house I can really feel good about since Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day®products are made with natural essential oils, are phosphate-free, and are never tested on animals. Our house is definitely not a show house, but I do like to keep it as clean as I can with 3 of us, plus a cat, all living here. For easy cleaning, I keep the cleaners in a little basket with gloves, a microfiber cloth and an old toothbrush. I can clean almost the entire house with this little basket! And I simply tuck it away in the bathroom closet when I’m finished.
Where do I buy it? That’s easy. I picked ours up while I was doing my grocery shopping at Kroger. It’s all located right where you would look for these type of products – dish soap in the dish soap shelf, laundry products in the laundry aisle, multi-surface concentrate in with the cleaners. The hand soap is in the natural section of the store and we buy things from that area. So again, simple to pick up and drop into the cart with my other groceries.
Where are you inspired to use it?
